To our customers, employees and suppliers.
In the early morning of May 11th Lone Republic Steak House and Saloon caught fire. Five local and area fire departments responded to the blaze. We would like to thank the fire fighters that worked hard to put out the fire. They did an amazing job of containing the fire within the walls of the bar and restaurant.
We want to thank the Winnsboro Police. Without their early detection and quick action the damage to adjoining buildings would have been much worse.
The preliminary reports from Fire Investigators indicate the cause of the fire was an appliance. We ask that everyone please stay clear of the building. Major sections of the roof have burned and the remaining portions could be compromised.
We are of course devastated that the fire has destroyed the restaurant that we all worked so hard to make a success.
The ownership group has not determined the future of the business, but we certainly appreciated the calls, emails, personal visits of encouragement and offers of support if we decide to rebuild the restaurant.
We ask that you pray for our 22 employees as they continue to look for employment. They are family to us so please post on our Facebook site if any of you know of a restaurant looking for a great employee.

About Lone Republic Steakhouse
Our newly remodeled restaurant is open and comfortable and the décor reflects a historic Texas theme. The Lone Republic Steakhouse will feature 30 day aged Certified Angus Beef®.
Like fine wine and cheese improves with time, so does beef. Aging improves beef tenderness and improves flavor. The aging process begins after harvesting with improvements being made after 10 days. .
